Spend 7 days exploring the incredible Rainbow Range- a group of volcanic Chilcotin Mountains that border the impressively steep Coast Mountains to the West. This range is exceptional in being extremely colourful; hence the name. This northern range is part of Tweedsmuir Provincial Park and is full of mountain goats, wolves, moose, mountain caribou, ptarmigan, black bears, grizzly and other wildlife. Suitable for ages 16 and up.
The trailhead to these mountains is only 1 hour from the Bella Coola valley. The salmon will be running in the coastal rivers and take the chance after your trip to cast your eyes on bears as they divulge salmon after salmon along the Atnarko River in the Bella Coola valley.
This trip includes: guiding, sleeping tents, cooking tarps, food, stoves & fuel. This trip does not include: travel to the trailhead, personal gear.
