Sam Mckoy
ACMG SKi & Hiking Guide -Owner/Founder of Chilko Basecamps
Sam’s love of the vast icefields of the Coast Mountains led him to starting the company with the goal of sharing the wild beauties of these remote mountain places. He hails from Whistler, BC where skiing is akin to breathing. In the winter Sam splits his time ski touring with Chilko Basecamps with heli-skiing work in the Central Coast of BC.
In the summer Sam guides grizzly bear viewing tours and hiking expeditions. Sam also has a BSc. in Natural Resource Management from the University of Northern British Columbia.
Daniel Robb
ACMG Mountain Guide
Whether it’s hanging on steep rock walls of the Northwest Territories, or guiding groups down wild Yukon rivers, or ski guiding for Chilko Basecamps, Dan’s comfortable doing it all. Dan’s charismatic and humble demeanour makes him a pleasure to be around. Originally from Canmore, AB, Dan calls Squamish home. In the winter Dan splits his time ski touring with Chilko Basecamps with heli-skiing and avalanche forecasting.
David Graham
ACMG Apprentice Ski Guide/Chef/Shredder extraordinaire
Dave’s infectious attitude makes it hard not to get excited about skiing! David fills his time raft guiding in the summer and ski guiding in the winter. Whether it’s in a whitewater kayak or on skis, airtime comes naturally to Dave. Originally from Labrador, he now calls Whistler home.
