Mystery Creek New Years 2017

Seems like every cabin is busy over New Years, so we set up a basecamp over New Years to get friends together to ski some of the incredible terrain around Pemberton.

The camp gear was shipped in by helicopter and we got to work setting up the basecamp promptly for those arriving on foot. Overnight snow fell like crazy and we woke to shovel snow off the domes as 20+ centimeters came down.

The result however, was incredible powder conditions in a winter wonderland! We got spoilt.

As if it couldn't get any better, the sun broke out and we explored some of the higher terrain.

The basecamp set-up made for a great place to spend the long evenings after the short days brought us dark. We gathered inside to share stories, banter and laughter.

A quick heli trip out brought the whole thing to a close but we'll surely be back!
